Our Certifications

Certifications

At Volunteer Botanicals, quality matters. We believe the best way to model quality in our ingredints is to prove that our processes and systems are vetted and certified. Trusting your supply chain partners is paramount in an industry that doesnt require regulations. We believe in a top-down approach in our facility.

cGMP-111 Dietary Supplements

Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) 21 CFR Part 111 is a regulation issued by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2007 that applies to dietary supplements. The rule requires individuals who manufacture, package, label, or hold dietary supplements to establish and follow CGMPs to ensure the quality of the product and that it’s packaged and labeled correctly.

Annual CGMP audits help ensure that supplements are made in a safe and controlled environment using high-quality ingredients and processes. This protects consumers from harmful products and ensures they get what they expect.

HACCP Certified

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is a management system that helps businesses ensure food safety by identifying and controlling biological, chemical, and physical hazards. HACCP is used throughout the food supply chain, from raw material production to consumption of the finished product.

TN Dept of Ag Food Safety Certified

The Tennessee Department of Agriculture’s (TDA) Food Safety Section is responsible for regulating and enforcing food safety laws, rules, and regulations for food processing, handling, storage, and sale in Tennessee. The TDA’s goal is to protect the health and economic welfare of Tennessee citizens.

The TDA’s Food and Dairy/Consumer & Industry Division inspects foods, drugs, devices, and cosmetics that are manufactured, processed, packed, or held for introduction into commerce in the state.

TN Dept of Ag Hemp License

The Tennessee Department of Agriculture coordinates the rules and regulations of hemp production through Tennessee’s hemp program.

Any person in the state of TN who is growing hemp, regardless of quantity, is required to have a Hemp Growers License. You may apply for a license at any time.

FDA + DEA Registered

Volunteer Botanicals’ facility and equipment are registered with the FDA and DEA. It’s an important step to legitimize our technology and manufacturing systems.
